Cool Retro Building

This cool, breeze block building was used on Bewitched, I Dream Of Jeannie, Dennis The Menace and Gidget. Judging by the Bewitched scene shown below, it looks like the building is right on the lot at Sunset Gowers Studios, where all four shows were shot.  

Recently I found this shot from The Monkees which shows, barely, that this is the Screen Gems building, right on the Sunset Gower lot.

The Real Bewitched House in Santa Monica, Ca.

This house in Santa Monica was used in 1959 in Gidget with Sandra Dee. It still looks the same today.

It was duplicated on The Warner Bros Ranch in 1962 and was used as The Bewitched House exterior in 1964.

It is a an exact copy, though they built it as a mirror image of the real house, with the bay window on the left.

Robert Reed didn't appear in this backlot Brady Bunch episode, but he was there in the same location in an episode of Mannix a few years earlier.
