The colours look so muted. So much white. My understanding is that for the HGTV show, there were no plans to work from so everything was guessed. I assume The Bradys didn't use the original set so I wonder if they were all guessed at as well?
Four years late here, but those colors were exactly right for the time. The colors and decor absolutely scream late 80s, early 90s. The set decorators and designers were just using the style of the times. All they're missing are some framed prints in dark wood with hunter green mats.
It would be great to see TBB and TB in HD. The dvd eipsodes of Brides and Bradys were awful. I read once the original negatives to TBB were lost/destroyed/damaged. Great shame if true as the quality of TBB dvds was generally of a very high standard (save for a number of first season episodes where they reinserted bits)
