Thanks to Bachu for pointing out this glimpse, through the mirror, of behind Mr. and Mrs. Brady's dressing screen!
In the first few seasons of "Bewitched", The Stephens had a similarly styled dressing area and screen
as Carol and Mike Brady. However, The Stephens was shuttered, and could be opened, and on occasion they would use the space.
So that is what that area was called. It all makes sense now. Like the room at the top of the stairs, we sadly never saw it used.

DeleteI am up to the end of season 3 of a rewatch using the 50th set. I have been taking endless amounts of screengrabs of the episodes. Just love the house. Not many episodes show the dressing area. Going Steady gives us some glimpses of it and the seldom seen window in the bedroom.

DeleteI feel there were no more than about 3 episodes that gave us glimpses of the dressing area. Bless the director of Steady for removing the wall behind the dressing table and giving us those shots.
DeleteThey couldn’t add the dressing area in the renovation, as there was only so much room.
ReplyDeleteStrange when I think about it now but the bathroom area they added freeflows into the bedroom.
