Alexander Backer Chalkware boy and girl busts were in Mike & Carol's bedroom during the first few seasons. Almost always, Mike had the girl statue on his side, and Carol had the boy statue on hers. (Things are very binary and symmetrical in The Brady universe.) Like everything in the Brady household, this was not consistent, and eventually the statues themselves disappeared.
Did you see the 30 minute preview showing the progress made on the Brady Bunch house & how each 'kid' is doing a room? (Eve Plumb is doing Alice's bedroom, Barry Williams is doing the parents bedroom.) Hope he doesn't replace these earlier seasons statues! Anyway--can't wait for HGTV to begin airing this show in September!
