I was pleasantly shocked to see The Bradys’ station wagon parked out front! I don’t know what the heck was going on there.
Zooming in down the driveway, it was cool to see the top of the Brady carport and a replica of the dunk tank.
The house has been more than well documented in photographs, and some fans know the LA Aqueduct runs behind the house, keeping the property's backyard space to a minimum. This video shows the aqueduct coming up to the house, from a less common angle.
From there, the aqueduct runs through CBS Radford Studios, which is less than a mile away. In this photo you see it cut through the studio with soundstages to the left. (Zoom in you can see “The Connors” soundstage on the far left and “Seal Team” on the far right.)
Wow, The Conners is filmed just a mile away! Great photos. Great to see that the new owner is either embracing the Bradys or allowing someone to 'film' something Brady there. It would be fantastic to see something fictional filmed there set in the Brady universe. Perhaps we will get another Drag episode filmed there. My Fair Opponent has a make over so would seen suitable.
ReplyDeleteIts got to be a first in tv history. That an exterior of a house used in a tv show was actually totally renovated to look like the interior sets! Absolutely incredible. I heard that the house is sort of a Bed and Breakfast inn?? Or is that just my idea of a great use for it.
ReplyDeleteThe station wagon could maybe be something that completes the look of the house? Anyway, fantastic effort by many people on making this a reality.
These pictures of the station wagon and red convertible sitting at the house, along with the new carport, dunking booth, and bicycles are floating around the internet, yet Tina Trahan has not announced anything as for what they are going to be used in. Maybe just props for visitors to see? I just saw her ask a guy in The Brady Bunch Fans group on Facebook to take his pictures down of the carport that he took over the gate. She said it was going to be a "surprise."
