Cool Retro Building

This cool, breeze block building was used on Bewitched, I Dream Of Jeannie, Dennis The Menace and Gidget. Judging by the Bewitched scene shown below, it looks like the building is right on the lot at Sunset Gowers Studios, where all four shows were shot.

Recently I found this shot from The Monkees which shows, barely, that this is the Screen Gems building, right on the Sunset Gower lot.

Bewitched 1960's Children's Car Seat

From the Bewitched episode, "How Green Was My Grass", Samantha demonstrates a 1968 children's car seat, where a single bar is pulled over into place. The car seat is hooked over the front passenger side.

By 1971, Tabitha was a grown woman of age 5 and no longer needed a car seat. Adam used one, in the middle of the front seat. He is sitting quite high and has a great view of the road.

A Brady Bunch-ish Horse on Hazel 1961

This design, and overall theme, was so popular on other sets, and in 1960s interior decoration.

The Giraffe In The Brady Girls Bedroom

The giraffe stuffed animal in the girls' bedroom was rare in 2019 when HGTV hunted and found one for A Very Brady Renovation. (Below)

I imagine they were popular at the time.
"Bewitched" used one here in this 1966 episode.

Also, "My Favorite Martian" in 1965

The Bradys Starburst Clock

In 1969, The Bradys filled their mod, new home with lots of mid-century pieces from The Paramount storage rooms, including this clock.  The Starburst was a cool, popular style, through the 50s and early 60s, seen here in different forms on Bewitched, Hazel (3) and HBO's The Deuce.
