Sunset Las Palmas Studio

Perry Mason and Petticoat Junction kept their low budgets low by using the same, plain studio office building on the lot. Here it is both a funeral home and Hooterville High.

1040 N Las Palmas Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90038
This entrance of the studio was used a number of times on The Beverly Hillbillies as Mammoth Pictures. Below, on Perry Mason as National Studios

These Perry Mason screenshots show the street view outside the studio gate.

He is looking into the studio gate.
And then, below, jumps onto the back of a truck driving into the studio.

The reverse angle shows Las Palmas from the POV of being in the studio, including the real-life lingerie company "Lucille of Hollywood"

Scenes filmed just outside the studio gate on Las Palmas

  1. Good stuff.
Just like Paramount, that used office buildings for alot of their scenes.
Lucy park at Paramount was used as high schools in Bradys and Happy Days, and other areas as parking lots and various scenes. Those window air conditioners were all over the place at those studios. They appeared in scenes that took place before that kind of unit was invented! Star Trek Nazi episode was a good example.
