Jackie was lovely to meet, she well remembered doing the "Kelly's Kids", saying it was a big deal at the time. Because it was a pilot for a new series, there was a lot of attention put on the episode.
Craig was a very nice guy who said filming "Where's There's Smoke" was the only time in his life he smoked. He was coughing and struggling to smoke the real cigarettes they used, making filming the scene a challenge.
I remember Craig in the Star Trek episode about two years prior.
ReplyDeleteAnd IMO the tv viewers were not ready for a series at the time involving the mix of races in Kelly Kids.
It would have been a great series though.
