The "Not-So-Ugly Duckling" script called for some scenes with a mirror, so they just randomly placed it here, where it would be easiest to film.
This is what the wall typically looks like. By putting the mirror there, they could still shoot it while keeping the camera where it often is. This episode has no scenes from this angle. The camera itself would of course, be seen in the mirror.
Oh yea.
ReplyDeleteStrategic placement of the mirrors was required to keep the camera and crew out of sight. And to keep the actors IN sight.
I can recall many tv shows and movies where the camera and crew managed to get into a scene even for a brief moment in a mirror.
