Prior to moving permanently into the Bradys home in Fall 1969, this untitled mod piece appeared in a 1968 episode of "Mannix". (Both shows were filmed at Paramount)
It was also used in this 1967 of "Mission: Impossible."
This proves that the brady set on stage 5 at paramount was built before the show even premiered. Perhaps it was meant to be a "generic" set,and then the bradys took it over .There is a great video of an empty stage 5 on Youtube,Just look up" brady bunch stage 5 set".Amazing to realize just how much was filmed there.
Perhaps Mike Brady designed the club and they gave it to him as a wedding gift. ;) Great spot by the way. I was watching the second The Lucy Show Christmas special the other day and spotted a painting that looked like that bowing balerina you often see in the Brady residence.
Eve Plumb painted a replica of this and many other paintings to go into the new Brady house! Some she signed "Eve" and one for sure in the girls' bedroom signed "Jan B."
I'll never look at that big artwork behind the Brady stairs in the same way again! ;^)
