The kitchen in "I Dream of Jeannie" reminded me of the orange kitchen in the 1969 Brady home. Though the Brady's had a far brighter orange, there is a 60s similarity in color and style in Jeannie's kitchen, shown above in 1968. Though the kept the same appliances, this was a remodeled update from the previous 1967 season, shown below
Was that I Dream of Jeannie episode taped at the same time that the Brady Bunch was using that set?
ReplyDeleteThe Brady Bunch's first started in September 1969 when I Dream Of Jeannie was in it's last season. So they overlapped only one year, but they were at two different tv studious.
DeleteAs a kid (who enjoyed both shows), I always loved the Brady kitchen--still do :) But Major Nelson's kitchen was always a drag to me. It looked more like a den.
