I assume HGTV asked him to do a drive by like Jerry Houser, Ron Kuhlman, and others members of the extended Brady family did on "A Very Brady Renovation"
I got a big kick seeing the Brady Husbands on those additional episodes,I thought it was terrific of them to do that. "Cousin Oliver" shouldve been honored they thought to ask him, geez!
Shame he didn't appear but I can understand as it then makes his value as a working professional as zero. Personally, as a massive fan of the show I would have done it for free but I guess for him it was a job and he doesn't love the show the way the fans do.
If true, he's got good reason for that. He's been blamed for more than four decades for "killing "The Brady Bunch."" It's absolutely ridiculous because the show was already deader than yesterday's dinner when he joined the cast. That being said, he was only there for six episodes and he was seen as an interloper. People needed someone to blame.
I loved seeing "Wally" and "Phil"- sorry, I meant "Phillip" ;) Yes it would have been great to see Robbie Rist, they should have paid him but the appearance would have meant a lot to us fans and certainly could have led to future paid appearances.
HGTV didn't know what they had. They could have made the show last so much longer, and could have given fans more content, with stories from the Brady Bunch cast (including guest stars) & its production crew.
Agreed. The could have given us the kind of extras the 50th dvd set never did. It would have been great to see them sitting in each room remembering stories and favorite scenes from the sets they are in. Also, it would have been great to see sides of the house that perhaps were not so nice such as just what did the outside wall on the right of the house now look like as it would have been the back wall to Alices room and the upstairs corridor. Also, the link coming up gives us a few glimpses here and there such as what is behind the kitchen wall. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smkMSRLpkTA&feature=emb_logo

Exactly!
DeleteIf Cousin Oliver had shown up, they would have blamed the eleven day rain delay on him. Who knows? The whole place might have fallen in.
