It was announced tonight on the 2019 Oscar telecast, that the Academy of Museum of Motion Pictures would be opening soon at the old May Company building on Wilshire and Fairfax in Los Angeles. It was built in 1940 in the Streamline Moderne style of the time, though most people just know this store as a place to get fine wigs at reasonable prices.
