HGTV did an outstanding job. However, it irks my OCD a little about some accommodations they had to make ... like three steps from the foyer to the living room instead of two ... and 11 steps instead of 12 on the staircase (though I understand keeping the angle of the staircase is visually important). Some other things I noticed ... the brick/tile on the front of the steps (from foyer and from bottom of stair landing) ... they used rectangular brick/tiles instead of square ... and the color appears more vibrant than the original. And where is the dining room china cabinet? OK, no more whining from me :) ... really, they created a beautiful masterpiece ... bravo!
Just seeing them all together, and in front of the house, got me teary-eyed! It's like seeing my own family reunite after many years.
