Just some trivia: this movie has the "Bonk Bonk on the head" kid from Star Trek episode "Miri". And very nice end score music by Paul Williams.
This was one of my favorite tv movies of the 70s, haven't seen it in 50 years but can still recall John Travolta at the end, touching those leaves. I gotta see this again :^)
